When filmmaker Dee Austin Robertson asked me to produce his short film entry to the 2012 comedy anthology Holiday Road, none of us knew what we were getting ourselves into.

Juggling the challenges of weather, sea sickness and nautical filmmaking logistics (no to mention keeping the coast of Southern California out of frame), a tiny crew braved the seas to bring a story of man lost at sea on his birthday to life.
